# Bonro

> AI receipt scanner for EU self-employed people. Snap a receipt, Bonro reads it on-device, sorts the VAT, and at year-end exports a tax-ready file in the exact native format your accountant's software imports.

Bonro is a mobile app for European freelancers, self-employed individuals, and small business owners (Selbstständige, Freiberufler, auto-entrepreneurs, autónomos, partita IVA holders, ZZP'ers) who want a lightweight way to capture and organize their business receipts without learning bookkeeping software.

## What Bonro does

- **On-device OCR**: Apple Vision reads the receipt text on the iPhone — raw photos never leave the device for analytics or training.
- **AI categorization**: extracted text is sent to Google Gemini Flash to structure into fields (merchant, date, total, net amount, VAT amount, VAT rate, category). Every field is editable by the user.
- **Native tax exports** per country:
  - Germany — DATEV CSV (SKR03 chart of accounts)
  - France — FEC (Fichier des Écritures Comptables)
  - Spain — Libro de Facturas Recibidas (AEAT-aligned CSV)
  - Italy — Registro IVA Acquisti (TeamSystem / Zucchetti compatible)
  - Netherlands — Auditfile XAF 3.2 XML
  - Any country — Generic CSV with localized headers
  - Any country — PDF year-end summary
- **Multi-company**: one user can manage receipts for multiple businesses across different EU countries.
- **Multi-language UI**: English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands.

## What Bonro is not

- Not accounting / bookkeeping software (it feeds clean data to your accountant, doesn't replace them).
- Not a bank-account aggregator (no PSD2 integration).
- Not a tax-filing service (doesn't submit returns to authorities).
- Not a tax-advice service (the app's AI is a helper, not an oracle — every field is editable, user confirms before anything is final).

## Pricing

- **Free**: 5 receipts per calendar month, generic CSV export, on-device OCR, AI categorization.
- **Pro Monthly**: €12.99 / month — unlimited receipts, all EU native formats (DATEV, FEC, Auditfile, etc.), multi-company exports, priority email support.
- **Pro Yearly**: €119 / year — same as Pro Monthly, billed annually (best value).

Subscriptions are billed via Apple App Store. Cancel any time in Apple ID settings.

## Privacy & GDPR

- Built by Exenrun UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a German company based in Berlin.
- Data lives on EU servers (Supabase region Frankfurt).
- GDPR-ready from day one: export-your-data and delete-account buttons inside the app — no support ticket needed.
